This is a great, central London based opportunity to get a foot on the comms ladder, whilst working in the not for profit sector. A highly valued inhouse position, working for a small team would mean that you’ll have access to senior counsel and the opportunity to learn and progress your PR skills. The role itself, is to work for the largest provider of specialist housing and care for people in later life in England and is a leading organisation that provide more than 60,000 homes for older people. They are also a trusted care provider with more than 100 care homes.

About the role

You will help plan and implement public relations activity to support the delivery and achievement of this organisations vision and strategic goals, with a particular focus on new developments.

You’ll be expected to lead on PR for new developments and manage reactive media enquiries in a busy press office environment.

You will have a good understanding of the media and new media environment, alongside strong communication and writing skills. You will have the ability to engage and influence both colleagues and the media alike, plus have a passion for delivering clear messaging, keeping target audiences and stakeholders in the picture at all times.
