The Role
• Managing a diverse range of clients
• Engaging with and pitching to National and Business media
• Development of high quality content across all channels
• Acting as a point of contact for clients and effective client counsel
• Assisting in the development and the running of thought provoking and challenging campaigns
• Development and implementation of media relations campaigns around a rapidly changing news agenda
• Contributing to the organic growth of existing clients and supporting new business opportunities
• Co-ordination of client events
• Working with and motivating high calibre and intellectually stimulating teams and managing and supporting junior team members
Candidate specifications
• Strong corporate and/or b2b communications backgrounds
• No specific sector required but a background and interest in business enterprise, entrepreneurship, global issues, technology, Financial Services, SMEs would be beneficial
• Good understanding of thought leadership, corporate reputation and the concept of client business development
• Strong in media relations and digital campaigns
• Excellent editorial and written skills
• Strong project manager
• Willingness to push the envelope and challenge traditional approaches
• Active knowledge and interest of emerging politics and business issues and the impact the political landscape has on the commercial world
• Confident in attending and driving client meetings with the support of campaign directors
• The ability to work in a team and support and help to direct more junior members
• Good relationship builder across with clients and media contacts
• The confidence to client interface at all levels
