PR MANAGER | In house, Part-time, Technology

A really exciting, one off opportunity to take advantage of a part time PR Manager role with a global video management platform. The business operates in the adtech space and is one of the biggest players, operating across 100+ countries and working with media owners and creative and digital ad agencies.

They are now looking for an enthusiastic and energetic PR Manager to work alongside the marketing team who has a solid understanding and experience of working in technology, b2b and corporate communications.

A track record in the media/marketing/creative industries sector would be helpful as well as the ability to devise and implement a PR strategy, build good media relationships, help manage and organise events, develop thought-leadership activity and deliver and manage news coverage and work on internal communications and corporate PR.

The role is for 3 / 4 days per week. While currently working from home the company will be
transitioning to a hybrid office (Central London) and home-based model when possible.

Skills:

• Background in tech, b2b and corporate PR
• Able to plan, develop and deliver a communications strategy that maximises PR impact.
• Proven track record of successfully building, fostering and leveraging media relationships.
• Manage stakeholder relations and media partnerships
• Strong written skills with a creative approach to translate complex topics into simple and compelling narratives.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to draft media content and thought-leadership for trade, corporate and business publications – as well as key messaging.
• Good understanding of media landscape – with particular focus on media, advertising and broadcasting trade press.
• Ability to pitch to ideas to media
• Track record in planning and managing media events, workshops, networking opportunities etc
• Proven ability to work with C-Suite to shape and drive corporate and business agendas with the media
• Able to provide counsel and media briefing and develop briefing documents
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative team working skills
• As an international business, languages such as French, Mandarin, German or Spanish would be a bonus.
